Intermittent

Well, Thurs-Sat I forgot to wear the bug. Sunday I wore it, but didn't log food. Mon-Tues I went to Houston and forgot to wear it. Lets kick myself in the ARSE and get going. Thanks Angel for sending me the note. I did wear it today and got 4 miles in walking. I did log my food as well. That post tomorrow, but here is Sundays exercise part.


On another note: Yesterday was the first time that I heard what they are doing on Biggest Loser.
Women: eat 1200 calories. Burn 6000 Calories
Men: eat _____calories. Burn 8000 Calories.
How many calories do the men eat?

Big Brother tonight

The Summer killed me

Well, it has been a loooongg HOT summer. I think it is finally over. I'm putting the bug on tomorrow and hitting it hard. No excuses. No more vacations to interrupt me. No more heat to keep me indoors.

Spent the weekend at the Flea Market selling Kites. Friday was slow as it was a weekday. Saturday rained all day hard and noone showed up and I sat there bored all day wondering what I got myself into. Sunday was nice and the crowd was packed. I was hopping all day long.

Several Things for the delay this week. I upgraded to IE8 on my computer, then nothing would upload. I finally got on a different computer to update my bodybugg, then uninstalled IE 8 and reinstalled Java on my computer and it is working now.

Also, My Kite inventory came in and I've been very busy getting things ready for next weekend. It will be my first weekend selling the kites. Crossing my fingers.

Three Days

Not in any order either. I apologize, I'm consumed setting up the Kite stuff. I got a booth at a local flea market and made my rather large order already. 2 weeks until I see if I can sell this stuff.

Day 156 and 157

Yesterday was a Kite Festival. I went out to have fun, and that I did. I handed out a bunch of business cards and sold a used kite (There was already a vendor assigned to the festival, so I tried to respect their arrangement) But all day activity made a good impact. Also it didn't leave me anytime for lunch, so a big deficit as well.
Friday was....so so. A couple of walks at work and some activity on my project later in the evening. I don't think I will do that again after dark as I was getting attacked by June Bugs attracted to the light.

Day 151 - Take THAT !!!

I learned a few things this week. NEVER say a Smilestone is imminent as it will Beat you up all week and DENY you the crossing. Also, I'm done playing softball as every time I do play, I end up hurt in some fashion and it keeps me from my routine for (in this case almost 2 weeks). I will support the team and be a base coach. On that Note, watch Rules of Engagement this Thursday. He sneezes then falls to the ground crying his back hurts. THIS IS TOTALLY OUR TEAM!!!!

Next, to solve the first problem. I TOOK CARE OF IT YESTERDAY!!! Below is Sunday's post and I went for the GOLD. I worked on my project most of the day, then hit the park for a 5 mile walk and some power kite flying! This is a new burned record for me! So here are some STATS from 150 Days of the BodyBugg

Day 150

I went to a Kite Festival Saturday and there was wind and rain. Beyond that, I did not do much. I have to change that. I want to go back to my 3700 plus burn per day that I had when I started this endeavor with Cube Monkey. After this post, that will be my goal. 3700 or more per day. See how long I can go. Previously, I had to walk 6 miles to get that. So I have my mark.

Apologies

My apologies People. I have been working the past couple weeks trying to launch my new endeavor. BigMikesKites.com has an assortment of Stunt and Power Kites. I am still in the process of building the site and getting set up for my first sales. This will be an ongoing process for the next few weeks.

Okay, So on Wednesday, I had a decent day and got a walk in early in the day, then 2 bouts of working on the 'Project' out back.
On Thursday, I drove to Houston and back. In the middle, I meddled at the datacenter and walked around the building there about 2 miles.


On Friday, I got one measely walk in.

Day 146

I got a 1.25 mile walk in at work in the morning, then 3.6 at soccer practice, then I had a softball game where I was more than happy to be just a base coach. The team suffered a pulled Quadricep on one fellow and 2 more pulled hamstrings....on the same guy!!! I feel like I dodged a bullet. Oh yeah, the Easter Bunny and my lack of exercise last week because of my pulled hamstring only gave me a .5 pound for the week loss. I'm going to make sure I run over the next rabbit that crosses in front of me.
